The Book Cover

Over 20 years ago, I read somewhere that you should not judge a book by its cover. I understood the message as a older child slash young adult, but truth be told, I’ve honestly always gravitated towards books with fantastic covers. Guilty as charged.

For you, dear reader, I share the short stories that have been brewing in my head. How many small romances, thrillers, and adventures over the years fizzled out before I had a chance to jot them down in my bullet journal or save them in a Word Doc? We survived a pandemic and zero stories survived the confusion of a time where a cat king, whipped coffee, home gyms, face masks, restrictions, and isolation ruled the land.

This page is dedicated to the ones I didn’t apologize to when I should have and the ones I miss very much but I won’t be the first to say it.
